Happy Easter 2016

It's a stressful time of year for eggs. Keep that in mind when you're gorging yourself on chocolate. Happy Easter!

Photos with Santa

Santa's kind of creepy when you think about it.

Wishing all my readers a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2016!

Happy New Year

Just kidding. As if I'd watch Friends. I watched a Parks and Recreation marathon.

Happy 2015 y'all!

Three Wise Men

Gold, frankincense and myrrh. The gold I get, but the others?

What is myrrh? Well, according to Wiki, it's an "aromatic resin of a number of small, thorny tree species of the genus Commiphora, which is an essential oil termed an oleoresin."

Oh, and it's also available at pharmacies.

Gosh, Christmas is almost here! More Christmas cartoons involving Rudolph, Christmas shopping (here and here) and Santa's prescriptions (here and here).

Rudolph

This one's for a Christmas in July flyer.

Guys, I now have Adobe Creative Suite! I drew this in Illustrator and it turned out great! I love how I can use the tablet pen to give the look of a traditional brush pen with the width of the stroke changing with the pressure applied. And the lines are so smooth. I love vectors. I'm new to all this, so I'm still experimenting. Have not worked out how to 'fill in' colour - I've been doing everything as 'strokes'. Hopefully with practice my Illustrator skills will improve!

Why was the mummy so tense?
He was all wound up!

Happy Halloween!*

*for the non-Australians. We don't actually celebrate Halloween :(

'Tis The Season

By Edwin Tan (c) 2013

You call that gift wrap? That's just lazy.

It's not gift wrapping if there is no tape or scissors involved. And if that was the case, you'd expect at least a bow or ribbon or something. Or wrapping paper.

Worst gift wrapping. Ever.

Sorry for the lateness of this comic. Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and that 2013 is a great year for you. Unlike this "gift wrapping". Like seriously? What was she thinking?

An Easter Cautionary Tale

By Edwin Tan (c) 2012
Mrs Bunny, unable to cope with the loss of her partner, eventually turns to drink and later commits suicide. Junior is placed into foster care. His foster parents are abusive and he runs away to live on the streets. He turns to a life of hard drugs and prostitution . He dies alone in a gutter, his final words being: "Why, daddy? Why?"
Tragic.
And all this could have been avoided by verifying the name and address of the patient. Or even some simple counselling about the prescription product.
Sigh.
Anyway, wishing my readers a happy and safe Easter break!

Happy New Year

By Edwin Tan (c) 2012

So apparently because I'm Asian, I only celebrate Chinese New Year, and not the new year as dictated by the current Gregorian calendar.

And I also apparently got "shortchanged" when I "came to Australia" because "they celebrate New Year's for like a week in China and everything shuts down, right?" Whereas in Australia, "we only have one day off."

So...I guess it's still December for me? Or something. I'm not really sure. *Gasp!* Apparently I've been celebrating New Years on the wrong day for the last 27 years.

Thankfully, some ignorant dumbarse has shown me the light.

2012 must be the year of the jackass.

PS - Wow, I haven't updated for a while. Apologies to all my fans.

WWJD? Probably Not This

By Edwin Tan (c) 2010

Happy Easter Long Weekend, all!

And before you call me a sacreligious heathen, this comic was inspired by a sign outside a church that said: "JESUS IS DYING TO MEET YOU THIS EASTER". Which I think is way funnier than my comic.

Enjoy the four (or in my case five) days off!
